Alleged gunmen in Delray Beach robbery, murder to stand trial

Paso Reynolds is accused of being one of two gunmen who killed 68-year-old Alfonso Hunter and 52-year-old Reginald Taylor during a robbery at a beauty supply an convenience store at 945 W Atlantic Avenue. His trial comes seven months after a jury convicted alleged getaway car driver Marcus Jerry, who is now serving consecutive life sentences in the case.

Investigators arrested the men shortly after the Dec 23, 2013 killings, although two were already in custody on other charges. A grand jury indicted them on first degree murder charges in October of the next year.

The third man indicted in the case, Travis L. Jackson, is also standing trial.

Reynolds’ trial is expected to begin with jury selection Tuesday with Circuit Judge Charles Burton.
